Magical Kenya Travel Expo MKTE

iXplore Africa Travel & Tours is honoured to have been selected to participate on the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) Buyers Programme 2024, held in Nairobi, Kenya. This prestigious programme provided an exceptional platform to engage with key tourism stakeholders and gain first-hand insight into Kenya’s diverse and world class tourism offerings. As part of the programme, our team was exposed to some of Kenya’s premier destinations, including Diani Beach, renowned for its pristine white sands, turquoise waters, and luxury beachfront resorts; the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, celebrated globally for its abundant wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration; and Nairobi, a dynamic gateway city that uniquely combines modern urban life with rich cultural heritage and close-proximity wildlife experiences. Throughout the programme, we engaged with a wide range of Kenyan tourism stakeholders, reaffirming delivering authentic, high-quality Kenyan travel experiences.

The expo created valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships with East African tourism operators and explore collaborative, cross-border travel partnerships that enhance regional tourism offerings. The MKTE Buyers Programme is a flagship initiative designed to connect leading tour operators, travel agents, and industry stakeholders from Africa and international markets. By facilitating targeted business engagements, the programme aims to strengthen partnerships, stimulate tourism growth, and position Kenya as a preferred global travel destination.
