Sanganai 2024: Strengthening SADC Tourism Partnerships

Sanganai/Hlanganani is Zimbabwe’s premier tourism trade exhibition, bringing together tourism stakeholders from across Southern Africa and beyond to showcase products, explore new partnerships, and foster regional collaboration. iXplore Africa Travel & Tours participated as a hosted buyer, gaining firsthand insight into Zimbabwe’s rich tourism offerings.

We explored key destinations including Great Zimbabwe, the historic and cultural heart of the nation; Harare City, offering a dynamic blend of urban attractions, cultural experiences, and local markets; and Bulawayo, renowned for its colonial heritage, vibrant arts scene, and access to nearby natural attractions. Participation in the expo provided us with valuable opportunities to engage with regional tourism stakeholders, strengthen cross-border partnerships, and identify emerging trends that will enhance travel experiences across Southern Africa.

Our focus that year was on expanding our global reach. The team engaged in meaningful discussions with international buyers, securing numerous meetings that would lead to new partnerships. For our corporate and leisure clients, these engagements strengthened our ability to deliver world-class travel experiences backed by a robust international network.
